Diving Bayahibe Dominican Rep. One of the best diving destinations in the country.
About the area: Bayahibe started as a little fishing village and today is one of the best of Dominican Republic dive sites that offers diving opportunities for beginners and advanced diver. Situated directly in the "Parque Nacional del Este" (East National Park). With always calm waters and good visibility, most spots are reachable within 15 to 25 minutes by speed boat. Bayahibe is not to far from two of the best; islands for diving in the country; Catalina and Saona. Don't miss the wall off Catalina Island or the smaller island Catalinita, where hammerheads, big rays and black tip sharks can be seen. The reefs of Saona are also considered to be some of the best in the Dominican Republic.
