Diving Cayo Coco

You will enjoy diving Cayo Coco, an island located in the archipelago Jardines Del Rey and it is known for its long beaches, many resort hotels and dive sites diversity. The massive coral reef off the north coast attracts divers from around the world.

The island has its own international airport; the Jardines Del Rey Airport (CCC) just minutes from the hotels and is connected to the main land via a 27 kilimeters-17 miles causeway. There is also access to Cayo Guillermo and Cayo Romano.

Visibility: of 30 to 40 meters/ 100 to 133 feet, water temperatures: from 26-29ºC/78-85ºF. Diving Conditions: The warm, clear, calm diving conditions are consistent all year round, although hurricane season (June to November) can blow out some days of dives.During the winter (October to March) from time to time the northern part of the island receives strong Atlantic winds that also affect the diving excursions. Normally it is possible to dive all year round, you just have to play your luck with mother nature.
